For a better understanding of the narrative path it is necessary to go back to 2017, a time when the label from perugia launched a new vision of wooden surfaces, through enhancing the resurfacing of the tiny / precious size and by now forgotten laying patterns.

The earliest time of pangea described the process of deconstructing the wood matter by comparing it to the evolution of earth, starting from the macro-continent up to its primordial element, a “core” which was then rebuilt in a sort of “new pangea” in which the return to creativity was the essence of the whole project.

Within this sort of “extension”, brand-new sizes come to light, valued design-oriented and never granted salis style formats: within this pangea spin-off the matter moves, the tones become more exaggerated, the contours seem to vibrate along the carved matter, the textures are sinuously shaped as if to trace a path, a way that goes from the origin_ the chaos, to the definition of the order_ the cosmos by way of the more “human” concepts of “polis” first and “core” then.

An ever changing core able to adopt different patterns and shapes in order to fit in and always adapt to the requirements of the environment in which it is set: our home.

COLOURS

Pangea brings us back to interpreting the colour in its basic meaning, the one inspired by the primitive environment, in a sequence of warm and soft tones interspersed by stronger and more vivid shades or mixed tints, kneaded as if to trace always different lines following paths made of matters linked to the nature.

These nuances have been grabbed and reinterpreted within Pangea, aiming to represent them in the most real and least altered dimension by the hand of man.

EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE: Spread “Re_Vita” refresher onto the surface with a soft well squeezed damp cloth

EMISSIONS:The entire range of Salis finishes is compliant with CE regulation mark parameters REMARK: PANGEA IS ALSO DESIGNED FOR THE HERRINGBONE INSTALLATION PATTERN. EVERY BOX CONTAINS EITHER LEFTS OR RIGHTS ELEMENTS.
